John is an Associate in the Firm’s Brisbane office where he focuses on complex construction litigation (both front and back end) and broad commercial litigation matters on both a local and national level.
He advises on contentious construction law issues, including security of payment legislation, statutory licensing and regulatory requirements, variations and extension of time claims, compliance, security, Subcontractors’ charges, and front-end construction (contract drafting, special conditions and negotiation).
These experiences have afforded John the acumen to act for tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 building and construction clients at each stage of a project.
John graduated with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Management and Bachelor of Laws from Griffith University. Following graduation he completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice before being admitted as a lawyer in Queensland.
