Jackson Freeman is the Partner of our Criminal Law division at Rostron Carlyle Rojas Lawyers. Born in Brisbane and of being Māori heritage, Jackson brings a diverse perspective to his practice. He moved to New Zealand at the age of 11, graduating from Whangarei Boys’ High School and later earning Bachelor’s degrees in Law and Arts (Media Studies) from Victoria University of Wellington.
Jackson was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2017 and as a Solicitor of the Queensland Supreme Court in 2020.
Outside of the law, Jackson enjoys writing music, spending time outdoors and volunteering at his local footy club. Family is important, with cherished time spent with his partner, niece and nine nephews.
