Neil joined the firm in 2023 from another renowned Queensland law firm, bringing with him a great variety of knowledge across multiple areas of practice including criminal defence, commercial, property, commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
Neil completed his Juris Doctor from ANU in 2019, and a Chinese law degree in 2016. Neil was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2020 and obtained his Queensland Practicing Certificate immediately after.
He now focuses predominately on Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution and has acted for clients from minor civil disputes to multi-million-dollar disputes (for both plaintiffs and defendants) in various states.
Some of the matters Neil has acted on include:
- Acted for a Lessee in a complex commercial lease dispute against a public company;
- Acted for a Company in claims against a former director;
- Acted for a Company in claims with a previous business partner;
- Acted for individuals against a former professional service provider;
- Acted for overseas individual to pursue a breach of unsecured loan agreement;
