Thomas practices predominantly in commercial and corporate litigation, and in insolvency.
As a litigator, Thomas’ practice focuses on commercial and contractual disputes, consumer and sale of goods issues, administrative/judicial proceedings, taxation, and duty matters, to property and insolvency disputes and in applications concerning statutory demands and wind-up proceedings under the Corporations Act; both on their own and as part of more complex proceedings.
Thomas has acted for a wide range of clients including government and quasi-government entities, small to medium sized corporate enterprises, liquidators, administrators, and individuals. Whilst known for his pragmatic, efficient and client centred approach, Thomas is equally capable of exercising his legal acumen to achieve superior legal outcomes for his clients.
Prior to joining the firm, he held a position at a national firm providing litigation services to various Commonwealth government clients under a panel firm arrangement.
