Thomas Lane-Porter

Thomas practices exclusively in the areas of commercial and corporate litigation, and in insolvency.

As a litigator, Thomas’ practice focuses on commercial and contractual disputes, consumer and sale of goods issues, property, taxation and duty matters, judicial review proceedings and in wind up proceedings under the Corporations Act; both on their own and as part of more complex proceedings.

Thomas also has a substantial insolvency practice having acted for some of Australia’s leading accounting, business advisory and insolvency firms, and their liquidators, both in an advisory capacity and in litigation.

Thomas has held positions at a national firm, providing litigation services to Commonwealth Government clients under a panel firm arrangement and at a boutique litigation firm.

Whilst known for his pragmatic, efficient and client centred approach, Thomas is equally capable of exercising his legal acumen and technical skills to achieve superior legal outcomes for his clients.
