Marcus is an Associate in the Restructuring, Insolvency and Commercial Litigation practice teams.
Marcus has previously worked on major corporate restructuring engagements in a market-leading restructuring and insolvency firm.
Marcus has held senior management positions with Australasia’s leading veterinary compounder where he worked directly under the CFO on all financial matters pertaining to the business and managed over ninety (90) employees within the Group.
Marcus has acted for clients in the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Queensland Building and Construction Commission, Fair Work Commission, Magistrates Court of Queensland, District Court of Queensland, Supreme Court of Queensland and the Federal Court of Australia.
Marcus is also a graduate of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA), after completing his industry renowned accreditation, now known as the Advanced Certificate in Insolvency.
Areas of particular interest include corporations, corporate insolvency and restructuring, contract, commercial disputes, shareholder agreements, shareholder oppression actions, governance, transactional documentation and small-to-medium enterprise.
